DelVal’s women’s wrestling team prepares for regionals as the sport gains popularity, soon becoming an official NCAA sport.

The Delaware Valley University Aggies men’s basketball team overcame adversity to win the MAC Freedom Championship, defying their last-place preseason ranking. After struggling midseason, they regrouped and achieved a remarkable late-season push, culminating in a thrilling 64-63 victory against Stevens Institute. Their success is a testament to resilience and belief.

As the NHL season progresses, there are over 20 games left for each team, creating opportunities for both surprises and intense competition. DVU VS. F&M DVU Homecoming 2024

The DelVal Aggies Softball team has been working hard for this weekend’s upcoming Fall Play Day games at Immaculate University.

They’ve geared up with workouts five days a week, hitting the gym, going on mile runs, and getting in fundamental field work. Coach Jamie Stefani is excited to see the team to get back at it.

“We jumped right into our fall ball season this year, and the girls have been adjusting extremely well to the schedule,” Stefani said. “Although we do not have many new faces on the squad this year, the girls know they have something to prove and have been working and practicing with a competitive mindset.”

With the Aggies bringing back only 12 players along with one transfer and a first year this season. They are looking to build on the success from last season. Last year, Maddie Karns earned rookie of the year alongside, Coach Stefani received Coach of the Year, and five other Aggies earned All-Conference Honors. The Aggies ended their season last year with a record of 18-18 with the momentum picking up a little later in the season.

“We focus on mindsets and approach a lot through the fall to create good habits for the spring season. The girls will have an opportunity to showcase their work during fall ball at our Fall Play Day,” Stafani said.

With the Aggies now getting into the winning mindset, it only keeps the fans eager for the spring to come a little faster.

DelVal’s wrestling team, with 7 athletes in 2021, is poised for a strong season. Seniors Arndt, Blair, and Coleman lead a talented roster, including standout recruits Robson and Murray. Senior Coleman aims for All-American status, emphasizing the team’s commitment to success. With a 14-5 record last season, the Aggies are primed for improvement under Coach Taylor.

The Delaware Valley University Men’s soccer team began their 2024 season with a 2-1 victory over Immaculata University, followed by a win against Centenary University. This marks their first 2-0 start since 2016. The team, led by Coach Shaq Stephenson, aims to secure a 3-0 record as they face Penn State Berks.

For Steven Dale, the most rewarding moment lies at the finish line.

The “don’t quit” mentality he embraces gets him through 24-hours of nonstop rucking, trekking for miles and miles with a 30-pound loaded backpack along the streets of Bucks County. 

It’s a mindset that extends far beyond the miles he’ll cover on foot —a lesson in pushing past the pain, he said.Dale, a 44-year-old Sellersville man, trains all year for his Annual Ruck 4 Bucks to help raise money for Vets for Vets, an organization that helps support veterans with home repair, yard maintenance, and other needs. Dale and his Ruck 4 Bucks campaign expect to achieve a lifetime goal of 80 miles this year within 24 hours. Last year he reached 76 miles
