Students gathered in Moumgis Auditorium on March 4 as Delaware Valley University hosted its semesterly job and internship fair. The event, held each semester, brings together dozens of companies and organizations and gives students the opportunity to explore summer employment, internships, and career experiences that can help strengthen their resumes.

Many of the organizations represented reflected some of Delaware Valley University’s most popular majors, including agricultural and environmental sciences, animal science, conservation, business, and sports media. This alignment allows students to connect directly with employers in fields related to their academic interests.

Among the businesses and organizations present were AARK Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, Ag Industrial, America’s Grow-A-Row, B.W. Furlong and Associates, Bejo Seeds Inc., Cedarbrook Country Club, Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, Bucks County Conservation District, and Crown Veterinary Specialists, among many others.

Each semester, many companies return to the event in search of new talent, while new employers also join to offer additional opportunities. Students who missed this year’s fair are encouraged to check Delaware Valley University’s Experience Link for updates and information about future career events.

In addition to career opportunities, Delaware Valley University continues to support students interested in furthering their education. On Wednesday, March 25 from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m., the Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) will host a preparatory event for students considering graduate school.

This session is designed to help students better understand the graduate school application process and the benefits of pursuing advanced education. Graduate school staff will discuss how earning a graduate degree can help cultivate in-demand skills and make candidates more competitive in the job market. The event will also provide guidance on preparing strong applications, navigating interview processes, and selecting the right school and program to meet individual goals.
