Spring 2026’s Club and Organization Expo at Delaware Valley University offered an opportunity for students to directly interact with representatives of student-run clubs across campus. Happening once per semester, the C&O Expo helps students connect with one another to build relationships and discover common interests. Featuring clubs focused on academics, fraternities and sororities, general interests and sports, club leaders showcased a wide variety of options for students to get involved.
The C&O Expo took place in late January, and Moumgis Hall was bustling with students. Students were enthusiastically mingling and learning about DelVal experiences as they weaved through rows comprised of over 60 club tables and snacked on free concessions provided by Empanada Mama.
This event served as an opportunity for discovering how students engage with this standing DelVal tradition; Lauren Caruvana of Delval’s Full360 conducted interviews with an assortment of students, finding out which stands were drawing student interest. She also gained insight as to why club leaders are excited about hosting their clubs.
Shayla Toro-Duke talked about the Crown club, mentioning that she is “really excited to connect with a lot of our black girlies on campus and create a good bond between us and work towards our personal and professional goals.” Starting a club with both communal and career goals offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with students of similar interests.
Steven Edwards II, founder of the Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association, said, “I was able to start this club this year and get it approved to the school so we can have a club for students at DelVal instead of just having national members.” The process with which students can have their clubs approved allows DelVal to serve as a strong foundational platform for groups to expand and flourish.
In front of the GLOW table adorned with LGBTQ Pride flags, Charlie Roller said that she was interested in the club since “It seems like a very beautiful, diverse community in which a lot of people with a lot of different backgrounds can come through.”
