It’s a new day for Delaware Valley Football as the team heads into the 2026 season with changes at the helm.
Former West Chester Football assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Bill Zwaan Jr. has been hired as the Aggies’ new head coach following the departure of Mike Isgro. Isgro was the Aggies’ head coach for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, where he finished with a record of 16-6 and won the team’s Centennial-MAC Bowl game against Dickinson College.
Zwaan Jr. sat down with Full360 producer Jake DiBlasio on a recent afternoon. During the conversation, Zwaan Jr. talked about his time running the Golden Rams offense, his vision for DelVal Football, and what to expect during the 2026 season. Zwaan Jr. spent 13 years coaching at West Chester, where his team achieved numerous winning seasons. Multiple times, his offenses were the driving forces behind playoff teams and helped the team win the PSAC conference in 2018.
The hiring of Zwaan Jr. marks a new era for the Aggies, who aim to win their first MAC championship since 2023, where up until that point, the team had won six in a row. Only time will tell if his construction of the Aggies will bring them back to the Division 3 powerhouse they once were.
