Men’s Basketball Falls to Susquehanna, 67–59, in Season Opener

The Delaware Valley men’s basketball team opened its season with a 67-59 loss to Susquehanna despite multiple lead changes and a standout 35-point effort from Antonio Redding. After falling behind 8-0 early, the Aggies rallied behind Redding’s hot shooting and key plays from Kamal Johnson and Jordan Strickland to take the lead midway through the first half.

Foul trouble and missed free throws limited DelVal’s momentum, but they entered halftime with a narrow three-point advantage. In the second half, the teams traded baskets until foul issues and turnovers helped Susquehanna pull ahead for good. With the defeat, DelVal starts the season 0-1 and will look to bounce back at PSU-Abington on Wednesday, November 12.
