Unlock the Untamed with Bearded Dragons

By Aubrey Ennis

Last weekend, I headed out to Cold Blooded Kingdom to capture Mr. Untamed who shared facts about the Bearded Dragon.

Mr. Untamed, who is Delaware Valley University student Richard Bagalia, launched an animal education Instagram series last year and is now teamed up with Delaware Valley’s Student media to share his knowledge on animals around us.

Here are the facts he shared with us.

3 Facts About Bearded Dragons

Fact Number One: They get their name for the spiny scale area under their neck, when stressed they will puff this area up and turn it a darker color.

Fact Number Two: They enjoy warm arid environments and can be found naturally across most places in Australia.

Fact Number Three: Bearded dragons are omnivores with adults eating mostly vegetation, with adolescents bearded dragons eating mostly insects.
