New Look to the DelVal Library

By Elijah Williams

Walk into the library this fall, and you’ll notice a few changes.

From the minute you enter the lobby, a brighter more open atmosphere greets you. That’s due to

a $1.2 million gift from The Daniel Tanner Foundation, Inc. to support renovations of the Krauskopf Memorial Library at Delaware Valley University (DelVal).

“This donation from Dr. Tanner will allow us to make much-needed improvements and renovations to our library in time for its centennial celebration,” shared DelVal President Dr. Benjamin Rusiloski in a university press release. The Daniel Tanner Foundation’s investment provided students with a contemporary space that inspires teaching and learning, enhances engagement, builds community, and supports their success, according to the release.

The changes include an updated layout, and new flooring, lighting, furniture and technology.

“We are pleased to support the renovation of the Krauskopf Memorial Library at Delaware Valley University,” said Tatyana Podstrelova, president of The Daniel Tanner Foundation, Inc.
