Video: A Visit to Henry Mercer’s Tile Works of Bucks County

Take a glimpse inside The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, a National Historic Landmark District located at Doylestown, less than three miles from Delaware Valley University. Located off Swamp Road, the tile works was built in 1911-12 and houses five kilns. The museum continues to produce tile using molds created by Henry Chapman Mercer, who aimed to preserve hand-making crafts of the past.
