Oceans Calling Festival

Oceans Calling is a 3-day festival that is held from September 28 to October 1 in Ocean City Maryland.

This festival has been held once before in 2022, but it was canceled due to Hurricane Ian. This year the festival was sold out on Friday and Saturday. The festival has VIP, VIP Platinum, and General Admission. They have different color wristbands to identify where you are allowed to enter.

Artists

There were 30 artists playing at the festival over the three days of the event. The festival has three different stages that are at the southern end of the Ocean City Boardwalk. The three stages are called Sea Bright Stage, Rockville Stage, and Carousel Stage. There are also different culinary demos that happen during the festival. My favorite artist that performed was a band called The Driver Era.

They have the maps for the event posted on their social media and it shows the different entrances to the festival. This includes where Rideshare drop-offs are parked and the buses that run during the event. There are also lockers that are available to rent during the festival. The map also shows where the hydration stations are located and these are free as long as you have your own water bottle.

Bag Policy- If you want to have a quicker entrance into the festival then bring no bag. Approved bags are small clutch purses, and fanny packs that are 6” x 9” or smaller do not need to be clear. But can have more than one pocket.

Prices

The prices for Oceans Calling Festival varies on each year and the prices may change . For this year (2023) it was different prices for General Admission, General Admission +, Vip and Platinum. Prices for General Admission was around $135 for a one day. Prices for General Admission for three days started around $300. GA+ passes for three days started at around $525. The vip prices had different ranges. Vip prices for a 3 day ticket was around $900. Platinum prices were around $2850 for three days. For a three day pass the prices started at $239. For Friday single day pass prices start around $149. Saturday single day pass prices started around $199. Sunday single day pass prices started around $80. 1 day tickets for General Admission started at around $135. General Admission + for one day passes were around $295. Vip passes for one day started around $475. Then Platinum tickets started around $950 for one day passes. Each Has diferent amenities.
