Next week, national speaker Dr. Randall Pinkett will come to Delaware Valley University to share his professional advice and personal anecdotal experiences on his accomplishments as a Rhodes Scholar and winner of the popular show “The Apprentice.”
Pinkett, a regular contributor to national programs such as MSNBC, CNN, and Fox Business News, provides expertise in several areas relating to emerging technologies including “big data” analytics, social innovation, culture, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Dr. Randal D. Pinkett is also an award-winning author in titles such as Data-Driven DEI, Black Faces in High Places, Black Faces in White Places, Campus CEO, and No-Money Down CEO.

Pinkett brings value as someone who has found incredible balance throughout his professional and personal life. Accomplishing athletic feats such as being a member of the Academic All-American Hall of Fame while obtaining five degrees from institutions such as Rutgers, Oxford, and MIT, Dr. Pinkett is an inspiration; earning his spot in history as the only African American to ever win the Rhodes Scholarship at Rutgers University.
In addition to the multitude of accomplishments listed, interpersonal relationships and values are yet another aspect of life that he has flourished within. While becoming a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the First Baptist Church in Somerset New Jersey, Dr. Pinkett is also a loving father to a family of two sons and a daughter. “For those to whom much is given, much is expected,” he said, placing emphasis in serving and giving back to the community he calls home.
Students interested in attending this event can go to the Life Sciences Auditorium, where Pinkett will be presenting at 11 a.m. Any further questions can be directed towards Sarah Masucci at sarah.masucci@delval.edu.
