Have you ever wanted to go shopping with a dinosaur while perusing Bath and Body Works products? The Q-Mart has you covered! The Quakertown Farmers Market (or the Q-Mart, as it is more affectionately known) is located about 30 minutes away from the university campus, and puts a fun spin on the “Farmers Market” shopping template.

Calling the Q-Mart a farmers market is a little misleading, as the entire market is housed inside a mall-like structure. A variety of shops line the halls and offer a multitude of different products, ranging from fresh fruit to handmade soaps. It is open every Friday-Sunday year round, so you can enjoy browsing the various stores with the comfort of heating and air-conditioning. All the stores (with the exception of the Auntie Anne’s) are a local business, and you can often spot the owner of the store working behind the counter.

With such a wide variety of stores and products, the Q-Mart more often than not has something for everyone. The Q-Mart features a number of convenience-type stores, like this one pictured below. You can shop for discounted Bath and Body Works products while these dinosaurs hang around. Aside from the giant prehistoric beasts hanging from the ceiling, there is also an entire collection of dinosaur toys lining the top shelves of this convenience store.

If you’re in the mood to go thrifting, there are also a number of stores that offer just that! You can find a multitude of antique and vintage items, as well as a large selection of more modern finds. Cousin Itt even stopped by to say “Hi!”.

If you’re hungry after all that shopping and walking, there are multiple restaurants located within the Q-Mart that offer a sit-down and dine experience, as well as many walk-up and order stores. The restaurants also offer a variety of different cuisines, ranging from Puerto Rican to Greek. Amongst the produce shops there is even a full-blown deli market.

The Q-Mart also features a variety of other storefronts, including an arcade, RC-car track, and a pet store.
