DelVal English Media & Com students hone photography skills in New York City

Delaware Valley University’s media and communications students went to New York City to take part in the annual B&H Depth of Field Photo conference, an educational and practical experience that gives participants a chance to try out new gear, hone their skills and produce professional work.

As part of the kickoff to Fashion Week, students had the opportunity to shoot along side professional photographers from across the globe, capturing beautiful images of Fashion-Week models.

B&H Depth of Field sparks inspiration with the best keynote speakers and presenters who include Dixie Dixon, Mark Seller, Bruce Gilden, Flo Ngala, and Roberto Valenzuela.

Marley Bramsway is a junior majoring in Media and Communications. She enjoys the visual side of media and has experience in photography, graphics, and video. Marley plays on the Delaware Valley Women’s Soccer team and spends her free time training on the field and in the gym. She also has a passion for creating mixed media pieces as well as watercolor paintings.

Lexan Coleman is a junior from Orlando, Florida majoring in media and communications. He enjoys the visual side of media and has experience in photography, graphics, and video. Lexan plays on the Delaware Valley Football team and spends his free time training on the field and in the weight room with his teammates. He also has a passion for creating mixed media pieces.

Kayla Leary is a senior studying media and communications. With a passion for event planning and photography, she continues to grow her skills through various personal and professional projects. She loves her furbabies and spends most of her time spoiling them. She loves to read and binge watch her favorite shows including Gilmore Girls and Grey’s Anatomy.
