DelVal Media & Communication students win Keystone Media Awards

Four students from the Media and Communications program at DelVal were recognized by the Pennsylvania News Media Association for their written and visual work published in The Full360, the university’s student media organization.
These outstanding student journalists will be honored with plaques or certificates later this month at the Keystone Student Media Awards ceremony, which will take place in Harrisburg, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Maria Viola, Sabrina Workman, Kayla Leary and Marley Bramsway were recognized for their media creations. The English Department’s student creator community has grown and now publishes news and community features on the DelVal Full360.
Writers, photographers, social media creators, videographers and graphics artists work as a team to write, capture and create student-centered media. “I was excited to learn that we won the Keystone Media Award. The story that we wrote was very special to me, as I grew up going to many of the restaurants and cafes featured in the article. Doylestown holds a special place in my heart, and I’m glad that the article we wrote shines light on the amazing foods we tried and reviewed.”

Marley Bramsway coverage of a Delaware Valley University Football Game won an honorable mention award.
“Winning this award was an eye opening experience for me. This was my first time taking action shots for a sports team and definitely won’t be my last. I’ve always had a passion for photography and sports, so being able to capture athlete’s drive and stand out plays is very rewarding.”
