Bucks County residents jammed the old courthouse lawn in Doylestown earlier this month to root on the Super Bowl-bound Eagles, get excited for the big game, and send the Birds a message of support.

The event featured former Eagles lineman Tra Thomas and Eagles alumni cheerleaders. There were also performers from local school and dance studios. Representatives from local high schools and college football teams were there to greet Tra Thomas and celebrate with the community. Senior Julian White, junior Louie Barrios IV and Head Football Coach Duke Greco were among those in the spotlight.
That night, someone shot drone video of the community shouting out “E-a-g-l-e-s, Eagles” and that was sent to the players for some encouragement for their big game heading into the week.
Face painters and balloon artists were also on hand for the young, and young at heart. They had sweatshirts and eagle gear for sale ready to be worn.
Here are some images from the night.
