It’s coming soon.
Terrain at DelVal will open summer of 2023, according to a Delaware Valley University announcement released Jan. 30.

Terrain, with its new sprawling retail and event center, will operate on the outskirts of the DelVal’s campus, bringing new job opportunities to students through the award winning E360 program.
It will also allow offer a venue for special events the university and community can host, giving students and area residents a place to eat, shop, work and gather.
Terrain, Urban Outfitters, Inc.’s nature-inspired lifestyle brand, will open from its new location at Delaware Valley University, filling the spot where the Market at DelVal once occupied.
This is a big deal for the university and students who stand to gain employment and internships with the university’s new partner.
The partnership includes experiential learning opportunities for DelVal students through the University’s award-winning Experience360 program.
Students can pursue paid internships and additional employment opportunities at Terrain at Delaware Valley University and other URBN locations.
In May 2022, Urban Outfitters, Inc. and Delaware Valley University announced a unique partnership to transform the Market at DelVal building to Terrain at Delaware Valley University. This new location for Terrain will bring Terrain’s retail store, nursery, garden cafe, and ornate private event space to the University and Doylestown community.
“We are excited that construction is underway, going well and on time. We have received positive feedback from the community here and many events are already booked for the second half of 2023 and into 2024,” said Adam DeAngelo, executive director at URBN. “We are excited to be part of the Bucks County community.”
DelVal alumni are thrilled about the new partnership and excited to book the Terrain event space for major life events. Monika Smallwood-Phillips ’19, a business administration alumna and her husband Shawn Phillips ’18, a business management alumnus, are eager for Terrain’s opening on campus to celebrate an important milestone and revisit their alma mater.
