Enjoy history and a hike at Washington Crossing Historic Park

Each December, the park attracts hundreds of people who gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of George Washington’s 1776 Christmas night river crossing.

If you are ever bored on any Friday with your friends, Washington Crossing Historic Park is open with plenty of activities throughout the year. At the park, you can go on a hike Friday Jan. 27, tour the historic grounds or have a picnic. Plus, there are also no fees for this fun activity. All you have to do is register to attend.

The hikes are offered weekly every Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in January. Lectures, celebrations and book clubs are also offered throughout the year.
