For many students at Delaware Valley University, the Experience 360 program (also known as “E360”) is a big reason why they applied to the college. The E360 program allows students to get hands-on experience in their field outside of the classroom. Fulfilling an E360 activity also allows students to receive credits for the number of hours they put in. E360 activities are also a requirement to graduate, though students complete them at various points in their education.
“I was very excited to sign up for E360 but finding out how exactly to do that was challenging, even when looking on DelVal’s website,” said Allie Cozzi, a psychology major.
In this blog, I will give you a step-by-step guide on what you will need and how to sign up.
Step 1: Things you will need to know before signing up
- Know what type of E360 you want to sign up for.
- The options for E360 activities come from a wide range of topics
- The topics are listed in the picture bellow
- Some examples:
- Academic Career Exploration Exp: working at a vet office as a vet tech
- Student Research: Creating your own study or partnering up with a friend to create a study
- Have the job lined up.
- Make sure you seek out an opportunity that fits what you want. Schedule some time to speak with the right person and be sure to make it clear what you are asking for.
- Ask a person that also works there to be your supervisor.
- You will need a site supervisor to oversee and evaluate your work.
- Example: boss, head vet tech, etc.
- Have all of the necessary contact information and opportunity details ready to go! This includes a list of activities and objectives.
- Get supervisors information and jobs information
- Example: email, phone number, etc.
- Get supervisors information and jobs information

Step 2: Time to sign up!
- Go to https://delval.edu/Experiencelink (you can also find this link through the E360 email you receive).
- Log in using your DelVal information.
- On the home page click on Experiential Learning on the left-hand side.

- Then click on “Add New” if you have done it before or click on “Apply for an Experiential Learning Activity” if you have not signed up before.

- Next proceed to fill out each section using the information you already collected in the steps above.

- Once you are finished filling out all of the information hit “Submit” at the very bottom.

- After you submit your application, it gets put on hold until it is approved. You can find the application status under the same tab “Experiential Learning”. (Keep in mid it may take a few days to get approved so don’t get discouraged!)
Step 3: Almost there!
- After your E360 application gets approved, you will then be signed up for a class and it will be added to your Blackboard.
Finally
After you have finished your E360 activity and class, you will be evaluated by your site supervisor and receive credit. Hopefully, you enjoy the E360 activity you did and gain a good outlook on what you might want to do with your future.
“I just started my E360 activity and am currently loving it, I was not 100 percent sure if it was something I wanted to do in my future, but I could definitely see myself doing it as a full-time job,” said Allie.
Not only does E360 allow you to look at what job you might want to do in the future, many students actually find jobs through their E360 activities. It is a great way to network and gain valuable experience! Hopefully this blog was able to help you navigate through the E360 process a little easier.
